The Vietnam Non-Timber Forest Products Exchange Program (NTFP-EP Vietnam) was established by the Southern Institute of Ecology and the Asia Non-Timber Forest Products Exchange Program. NTFP-EP Vietnam focuses on research, conservation, and development of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) in Vietnam. Additionally, the organization plays a key role in promoting the sustainable use and management of forests, as well as biodiversity conservation by strengthening the capacity of forest-dependent communities and community-based NTFP enterprises.
Currently, the program is implementing the “AFOCO-CLMV-NTFP-EP Asia Project on Improving Local Livelihoods and Market Linkages.” As part of this project, NTFP-EP Vietnam, in collaboration with the Business Research and Enterprise Support Center (BSA), is organizing the “VIETNAM MARKETING SUMMIT 2025 – Trade Promotion Program – OCOP Product Fair – Local Specialties,” scheduled to take place from January 16-20, 2025, at the Trade Promotion Service Center Office, Ministry of Agriculture, 135 and 135a Pasteur, Ho Chi Minh City.
The program aims to enhance connections between producers, distributors, and consumers through the display and trade of OCOP (One Commune One Product) products, particularly highlighting outstanding local specialties from various regions across the country.

2. Key Activities at the Event:
Thus, on January 18-19, 2025, the “Meeting & Networking for Trade Promotion and OCOP Product Sales – Local Specialty Fair” will take place at the Trade Promotion Service Center Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, located at 135 and 135A Pasteur Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
